Custom Pet Portraits by a Veterinary Technician

FAQ

What kind of paint do you use?

I use GOLDEN brand liquid Acrylics. It's a thin paint with the consistency of heavy whipping cream. It enables me to achieve finner details. It also dries very bright with no worry of fade. It's alsolike a plastic polymer so if something gets on the canvas, you can wip it off.

Do we have to have a frame?

No, you do not. Just let me know when we discuss your project and I will change the price accordingly.

How long does it take you to finish a project?

Typically It takes me a couple of weeks. I am a stay at home mom and I find my time to paint in the after hours. Typically, I can have one finished in 4 weeks, sometimes it takes me a little longer.

Can you paint people?

Not well. If you have a picture that has a human in it, that is where I recommend a drawing. I can recreate the picture but I am much better at drawing people rather than painting them.

Where do you do pick up?

Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte. That is where most of my clients come from. I will leave paintings there or meet you at that location of off South Tryon. I will also ship if needed.

How do you take payment?

I prefer Venmo, Cash App, or cash. I do have the availablity to send an invoice with a small fee so you can pay by card. I ask for a 50% deposit before starting a project, pay the rest at time of completion.

Can you take 2 pictures and put them together?

Yes. There is an option to Photoshop. I have another artist I refer work to who will put it together for us for a 40$ fee. With this is also the option to put your pet with your favorite character as well.

What size do you prefer?

Honestly the bigger the better. I can do sizes larger than what I have listed but my top two sizes are 8x10 and 11x14. 16x20 is a great size too.
